Known for its pristine white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, and vibrant atmosphere, Clearwater is an ideal location for a new hotel. Opal Sol sits at a privileged site, located across the street from Opal Sands, a previous Nichols Architects project inaugurated in 2016.

The design of Opal Sol comes from the natural curve of the coastal line in front of the site, which was seamlessly integrated with the curvature of the Opal Sands building. The two structures will be connected through a pedestrian bridge, creating a cohesive and visually stunning experience for guests. The guest experience is at the forefront of the design, with the lobby area designed to amplify the building’s entrance and the guest rooms optimized to maximize ocean views by directing all balconies towards the water.

On this new 16-story hotel, all 248 guest rooms will have ocean views.

For this hotel, Nichols Architects is leading the project with collaboration from IDDI as interior designers and Booth Design Group as landscape architects, with Moss Construction serving as the general contractor.
