“Wynwood, with its pervasive graffiti street art, is part of a larger movement of urban renewal in America: a movement calling for the occupation of public spaces by their citizens. Through a mix of tactical design interventions and a flexible planning framework, the Wynwood neighborhood has transformed from an abandoned warehouse district into a dynamic urban area with diverse public spaces.”

This nine-story residential building, located next to a power station, marks Fisher Brothers’ first development in Miami’s Wynwood Art District—hence the name, Joule House.
Joule House brings an electric atmosphere to the neighborhood, with paseos that enhance the pedestrian experience, providing additional retail frontage and seamlessly integrating public access through the site. At their intersection, an open-air space allows natural light and airflow to filter in.
Exclusively for residents, the second floor hosts a multi-story courtyard oriented toward NW 22nd Street, connecting all amenity spaces. Planters with integrated seating create a tranquil sanctuary, while the rooftop pool deck on the ninth floor offers stunning views of the vibrant surrounding neighborhood.
The project’s concept, interiors and amenities were designed by Rockwell Group, with Nichols serving as the executive architect.
