Great News! The Jewel Box retail building at Miami Worldcenter, designed by Nichols, has been issued a Certificate of Occupancy …according to construction manager Square Edge Inc. Sports & Social will occupy part of the building, Worldcenter previously announced. The entertainment complex will include around 20,000 square feet of space, with a third-level open-air restaurant overlooking the adjacent World Square public park and plaza. The first glass has been installed at the Miami World Tower 1 construction site shown in a photo by Kyle Merville. At least 12 floors of the tower’s shell have now been completed, the photo shows. Miami World Tower 1 is planned to rise 53 stories, or 579 feet.
