A new facility for a new era Set on 22 oceanfront acres and one-and-a-half miles from South Beach and the Art Deco district, the Fontainebleau Miami Beach has long been one of South Florida’s most popular luxury resorts. The Epoch, a bayfront condo building designed by Nichols Architects, set a new record in downtown Sarasota with the sale of a 5,900-square-foot unit for $11.35 million, or approximately $1,938 per square foot. The deal marks the priciest home sale ever in the area, surpassing the previous record of $11.15 million for a penthouse in the same building last year. Wynhouse Miami now has nearly all its glass installed, a new photo shows. Construction on the 8-story building began last summer. A top off ceremony was held in March.
