A job listing for a Resort Development Manager on SpaceX’s website has tipped their hand: The Elon Musk-run spaceflight company is looking for someone to oversee the design and construction of a luxury spaceport in Brownsville, Texas, next to the small unincorporated community of Boca Chica Village.

Taking a page from Virgin Galactic, who revealed their luxe “Gateway to Space” building in the deserts of New Mexico last August, SpaceX is looking to create an end-to-end space travel system for its (presumably ultra-wealthy) future passengers. As the posting states:

Boca Chica Village is our latest launch site dedicated to Starship, our next generation launch vehicle. SpaceX is committed to developing this town into a 21st century Spaceport. We are looking for a talented Resort Development Manager to oversee the development of SpaceX’s first resort from inception to completion.

Boca Chica Village is where the company is currently testing its Starship prototype, a massive, reusable super heavy-lift rocket that, once complete, is expected to carry up to 100 passengers. Musk has stated that his ultimate goal is to start a Mars colony with one million residents, but in the meantime, Starship will first ferry paying patrons on a trip around the moon.
