Codina Partners plans 18-story tower

Codina Partners affiliate C/LeJeune LLC proposed the Regency Tower luxury apartments in Coral Gables.

Chairman Armando Codina said the idea for the project, on 1.8 acres at 2601 Salzedo St., started with his plans to build a high-end apartment for himself after selling his Coral Gables home. He’ll occupy the building’s top floor.

The 18-story project would total 329,197 square feet, with 176 residential units, a 4,050-square-foot restaurant and 389 parking spaces. Standard units would range from 1,500 to 3,000 square feet. The “sky homes” would be 10,000 to 12,000 square feet.

Amenities would include a pool deck, two Zoom rooms, a library, a theater room, a private meeting room, a dog spa, a fitness center, a social room with a catering kitchen, and a summer kitchen.
