The Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach is proposing to build a 5-story expansion with parking and convention space.

Architect Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe is designing the new structure.
The proposal includes three levels of parking on the lower floors, with two levels of ballroom space and additional function space on a rooftop deck.
A 90-foot long pedestrian skybridge is proposed to cross 40 feet above Collins Avenue and connect to the Fontainebleau’s existing walkway on the third floor.
The land where the new building is proposed is currently used as surface parking.
