The location? 90 N. Bryan Road in Dania Beach.

What’s planned? The Aileron will be a 17-story development that offers 380 condos, located on a canal that leads to the Intracoastal Waterway.

How did it get its name? Aileron is an aviation term, “referring to the hinged flight control surfaces on an airplane wing,” according to the real estate developer, Lynd. “An aileron aids an aircraft in banking and turning, making the seemingly impossible flight of heavy machinery a graceful and balanced dance in the sky. Similarly, ‘Aileron Residences’ takes the concept of living spaces to new heights. The name signifies an ascent.”

How big will the condos be? The units will range from studios to three bedrooms.

What are the amenities? There will be a 5,000-square-foot India-inspired spa, co-working spaces, and Paradise Tiki will offer room service. Because of the way Nichols Architects has designed the building, the two pools sit on opposite sides, guaranteeing at least one of them to be sunny no matter what time of the day.
