A penthouse in Pompano Beach, Florida’s new Waldorf Astoria Residences is set to hit the market on Monday for $20 million, making it the priciest home listing in the coastal South Florida city just north of Fort Lauderdale. The unit will be the pinnacle unit at the Waldorf Astoria Residences Pompano Beach, which is the luxury hotel chain’s first residences-only project. The development has three other, less expensive penthouse apartments.
Designed by Nichols Architects, the apartment has nearly as much space outside as it does inside. It has a private “sky deck,” which has about 5,000 square feet of space and looks out toward the ocean. On the rooftop, there’s a 1,000-square-foot “sky lounge,” an interior space surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows and featuring a lounge area, a den and a pool bathroom
“We see Pompano Beach becoming the next big thing in Florida for luxury living,” said Greg Knobloch, senior development manager at Related Group, “People want the gorgeous beaches and the more peaceful lifestyle compared to Miami, for example.”
The Waldorf Astoria Residences will break ground in Pompano Beach early next year, with completion slated for the second quarter of 2027.
