A new luxury beachfront resort on Clearwater Beach will open on Valentine’s Day.

Opal Sol will feature 248 rooms, three pools, several restaurants, a spa and 57,194 square feet of event space. The resort is located across the street from sister resort Opal Sands, which opened in 2016. The two properties are connected via skyway bridge.

The two Opal resorts on Clearwater Beach will combine to boast over 106,000 square feet of event space, with the company pitching the properties as ideal for weddings, conferences and other events, hosting up to 880 guests.

Both Opal Sol and Opal Sands were designed by Nichols Architects.
