Although the brand-new resort located in Kissimmee opened to guests earlier this month, it held its official ribbon cutting ceremony on Jan. 23.
“We have many great things that are going on here,” said Art Falcone, chief executive officer and chairman of the Falcone Group and co-founder of Encore Capital. “It’ll be fun for all.”
Margaritaville Resort Orlando offers a lot to a variety of guests. Whether it be a family vacation, corporate gathering or other special event, Margaritaville will serve as a destination for many.
Upon completion, the resort will offer 4,500 rooms for hotel stays; 40,000 square feet of meeting space for weddings, parties and corporate events; 200,000 square feet of retail space, featuring bars, restaurants and shopping of all kinds; and a technology-driven water park.
“This water park will be different than any other water park in the country,” Falcone said, in reference to guest experience. Guests will have the ability to customize every experience, by modifying the music, light colors and other ride and slide features, through a system called Vantage.
The project was designed by architects Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe (NBWW) out of South Florida.
