I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again — if you like piña coladas, you’ll love what’s coming to Margaritaville Resort Orlando.

Opening day is finally approaching for the Central Florida Jimmy Buffett-themed resort, and the excitement is definitely at a high.

Here’s everything you need to know:

Margaritaville Resort Orlando is the first place in Orlando where guests can experience the amenities of a premium hotel (or cottage), more than 35 dining options, retail, a movie theater, a water park and more, all within walking distance from their room.

The resort is designed on 300 acres for the ultimate vacation destination — providing guests with enough entertainment to never leave the resort during their stay.

This Orlando setting isn’t quite the first of its kind. There are 14 other locations part of this global lifestyle brand, all mapped across the Southeast United States and Caribbean. There are also 20 additional locations in the pipeline.

The brand announced its Orlando project in August 2015.

But that wasn’t the only exciting event to happen that month — the brand also officially announced its water park, Island H20 Live!. The water park will open this spring, and expects to be home to nine different thrill rides, a lazy river, a wave pool, a kids’ area and a family river raft ride.
