Autodesk University, typically held in Las Vegas every fall, and its counterpart events in the United Kingdom, India, Japan, China, and Germany will take place online.
The following is an announcement from Autodesk’s chief marketing officer, Lisa Campbell, explaining that Autodesk University’s 2020 conference and other events will take places digitally in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
To our valued AU community,
Each year I look forward to engaging with our customers and partners at Autodesk University events around the world. It’s a time when thousands of professionals from the construction, manufacturing, architecture, and engineering industries come together to learn, network, and share knowledge.
As we continue to monitor and respond to the challenges caused by COVID-19, we have decided to host all Autodesk University conferences as digital experiences this year. This includes our flagship Autodesk University conference in Las Vegas scheduled for November, as well as our international AU events in the UK, India, Japan, China, and Germany. We are also evaluating ways to digitize our preconference events, including the Leadership Forum, Connect & Construct Summit, and Forge DevCon.
