New this year will be collaborations with UN-Habitat and NYCxDesign and talks that discuss societal issues, such as homelessness, affordable housing, and social inclusion.
The following is a press release from the Architecture & Design Film Festival announcing the dates for its 2020 tour, which kicks off at the United Nations, in New York, Feb. 18. It then continues on to Washington, D.C., New York, Vancouver, British Columbia, and Toronto, with additional events in other cities.
What: The Architecture & Design Film Festival (ADFF) – the largest film festival devoted to the creative spirit that drives architecture and design has just announced the key dates of its upcoming festivals for 2020. Traveling across the US and into Canada, the film festival will return to Washington DC, New York, Toronto, and Vancouver as well as host unique activations throughout the year in New York, LA, and more. ADFF will kickstart the new year at the United Nations on February 18, with a day of screenings related to global housing issues. In an exciting new initiative, this May the festival is teaming up with NYCxDESIGN to host five nights of films and programming within the five boroughs of NYC. Festival goers in every city can expect a rich and vivid lineup of visually and intellectually stimulating films about architecture, design and global issues around how humans live and build.
